Error correction determines how much of the QR code can be damaged or obscured and still scan correctly. Low (7%) creates the smallest code for clean digital use. Medium (15%) is a good default for most situations. Quartile (25%) works well for stickers or printed materials. High (30%) provides maximum recovery and is required when adding a logo overlay.
